Pokémon

Pokémon was launched in Japan back in 1996 and has since become one of the children's favorite brands. It is a world-renowned brand that covers both animated cartoons, mobile apps, trading cards, video games, toys and much more.

A Pokémon is a creature that either lives freely in the wild, or together with a human who is called their trainer. The more the trainer trains his Pokémon, the stronger and more developed it becomes - finally let your child's imagination run wild with Pokémon that are guaranteed to provide many hours of play.

The Pokémon universe

Pokémon is much more than just some trading cards that children can have large collections of. Pokémon is a Japanese adventure universe that becomes part of our reality. The adventure behind the trading cards offers seven different regions, each of which offers different Pokémon - including the extremely well-known Pikachu.

In the Pokémon universe, there are hundreds of different Pokémon, and it is in this universe that your child can have a big influence and become the new trainer for one or more of these Pokémon. In the card game, these Pokémon fight their trainer's duels, in the form of friendly matches. It's about improving the abilities of these Pokémon so that it's easier and faster to defeat the opponent.

Player or collector? Both are possible with Pokémon

Pokémon aren't just for playing with. Because there are so many different Pokémon, both in toy form and trading cards, your child can also start a collection of the different Pokémon. It is something that can be collected for many years, and when the child may lose interest, it can be passed on to the child's future generations. It is therefore entirely up to your child and his interests, whether the child wants to play or collect these Pokémon, or perhaps even both.

Stimulant and storage

By buying the physical Pokémon for your child, it can also help to reduce the child's screen consumption. The child becomes part of the Pokémon universe outside the screen, and can have some pleasant moments with his playmates, siblings or the adults. Starting a game with Pokémon will often require a deep presence, which is why the child will spend a long time focusing on being part of the physical Pokémon universe, and thus less screen time. It is therefore a very educational universe to introduce your child to, and it helps to strengthen your child's creative and imaginative development.

When your child is not playing with his Pokémon, it is possible to protect these in either folders with plastic pockets or small hard boxes, so that Pokémon can also be taken on the go without the risk of being damaged or creased.
