Little Happy welcomes you to the magical Maileg Universe. The Danish toy brand that transforms all children's rooms into a fairytale world where little mice sleep in matchboxes, elves that welcome Christmas and rabbits that have a whole world to themselves with little costumes and a universe with room for imaginative play.

Maileg is the Danish company behind the fantastic mice, rabbits and gnomes, each with their own distinctive expression. The mice are available in many different sizes for mini versions, such as small baby mice that can lie in a matchbox to large sizes that decorate the children's room nicely and are a safe huggable friend.

Dorthe Mailil start-up of Maileg

In 1999, Maileg was started by Dorthe Mailil and her husband. Dorthe Mailil currently works as creative director at Maileg and is trained in design. Her passion for design started early, which has also meant that she has interspersed studies at L'ecole D'art de Marseille in Paris. Dorthe believes that the years in magical Paris are a great source of inspiration for the fine and nostalgic details that characterize Maileg's products.

The many small details

Maileg's products are quality toys that have been created with love and care. It consists of the iconic animals that are available in different sizes and versions, each with their own distinctive design and fantastic personalities, and is made to take a central role in our children's favorite stories and games.

Here at Little Happy, we offer several of the various iconic animals, including the Princess on the Pea, the mouse or Tooth Fairy in both boy and girl versions. For the mice, there is a magical world of the finest accessories, from clothes and shoes, to furniture, doll carriages, and homes for the little mice, all designed with a touch of nostalgia reminiscent of the stories in the adventure books.

In addition, Dorthe Mailil also designs the finest small metal cans, rattles, wooden toys and multifunctional suitcases that can be used to store your child's Maileg toys.

Imaginative play

At Little Happy, we are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to bring the creative line from Maileg home to Danish families with children. Maileg continues to develop and today it has become a whole family consisting of rabbits, mice, forest animals and the red-haired family, all of which fit in perfectly as children's interior in the children's room or as toys. All Maileg products are made in timeless quality of the highest level, which means that the toys can be passed on for generations.
