Twistshake is a brand founded by a Swedish man named Vienar Roaks. The idea behind Twistshake arose when Vienar Roaks was looking after his aunt's son in 2011, which required a lot of attention. Vienar Roaks believed that it was difficult to combine full attention to the aunt's son, while other things also had to be done, and that the biggest challenge was at mealtime. He believed that the food to be given to his aunt's son came in cumbersome packaging and the clean-up after the meal was a big mess. Vienar Roaks looked after his aunt's son many times afterwards, and each time was just as difficult when it came to mealtime. Vienar Roaks therefore came up with Twistshake on the basis of the following ideas:

- Easy cleaning

Twistshake therefore created products that were practical and easy, and were responsive to the needs of both parents and children.
