Behind Ailefo stands Christiane, who has a great interest in what the children are actually exposed to when they play with toys. Christiane was very concerned about what was absorbed through her daughter's skin when she played with the play dough available on the market.

With these concerns in the back of her mind, Christiane wanted to create a product that removed her, and many other parents' concerns. Christiane has a background in the nursing profession, and therefore she is also hugely aware of how much allergy there is in society today, even among very young children. Christiane has had to try many different versions of Ailefo organic play dough, and she has had to go through more than 100 different recipes in order to create a play dough that does not stick to the fingers, was dry, had dull colors or spread.

Ailefo organic play dough has been tested both at home and in collaboration with several Kindergartens in Bornholm, and in the end they came up with the perfect recipe for Ailefo organic play dough.
