This receding clock helps students or children track how much time is left for an assignment or task down to the minute. What makes it special is its use of a normal dial, familiar to children from ordinary clocks, with a colored disc that moves backwards to show the remaining time. The visual, analog representation of the remaining time with the colored field provides instant time information at a glance, without distracting from the task at hand. Running on batteries, the clock operates silently. When the set time ends, a signal sounds, which can be set to loud, soft, or silent.
